A look back at a past Night of the Living Deadlift.

Costumes. Community. A good cause.

One night. Plenty of reasons to come.

01 / THE COSTUMES

Bring the Halloween energy.

Costumes, familiar faces and a dojo that takes Halloween very seriously. Well, the decorating part, anyway.

02 / THE LIFTS

Big cheers for every lift.

Deadlifts are the namesake. The encouragement and community around the barbell are what make the night.

03 / THE FUNDRAISER

Stay for the raffles.

Enjoy the night and help us raise funds for our good friends at Main St.

The reason behind the night

Good people.
A good cause.

Night of the Living Deadlift brings our community together to raise funds for Main St.

Come for the fun. Stay to support the people doing meaningful work in our community.

This is what the night feels like

A little spooky.
A lot of support.

The costumes might be ridiculous. The encouragement is real.

Our past events have brought students, friends and families together around the barbell—and around a cause worth supporting.

New to TFW? This is a chance to meet the people behind the dojo and get a feel for our community.

Plan your visit

Friday night
at the dojo.

Put it on the calendar, invite a friend and bring your Halloween spirit.

Nonmembers are welcome to lift. A signed waiver is required for nonmember lifters.

How the lifting works

  1. Warm up at your own pace. Use the designated warm-up zone and take as long as you need.
  2. Let a coach know when you’re ready.
  3. Take your three attempts. You’ll have three attempts to lift as much as you can.
